# ZeroTrust ORBIT-CORE Source-of-Truth Declaration

## Declaration

ORBIT-CORE is the canonical publication authority for the architecture,
governance standards, Requests for Comments, integration specifications,
manuals, operational runbooks, release notices, platform memoranda,
security advisories, and deprecation notices of the ZeroTrust Platform.

A document becomes authoritative only when ORBIT-CORE assigns it a permanent
document code, publication status, version, publication timestamp, and
cryptographic integrity digest.

Documents retained only in chat histories, email threads, private folders,
unpublished repositories, or informal team workspaces are not authoritative
platform specifications.

## Governance Rules

1. Published documents are immutable.
2. Corrections require a new revision or replacement document.
3. Superseded documents remain discoverable for historical traceability.
4. Every authoritative artifact must expose a SHA-256 digest.
5. Architecture changes should identify their governing RFC or decision.
6. Every document must identify the products to which it applies.
7. Teams must implement against the current authoritative version.
8. ORBIT-CORE remains the source of truth for architectural alignment.
